What is the biggest/longest thread ever on WHO?

Just seen the referendum one has passed the 50,000 post mark and i guess has been about 2 years in the making.
I remember there was a stadium one which got ridiculously big, and a few others, but did they ever top 50,000? Anyone remember a bigger one from the past?

BTW I've never looked at the Brexit thread. I assume it's largely Pickle, Swiss and Willtell being enormous cunts.

It SHOULD have been either the Julian Dicks' Sportsmen's Dinner or the Are you familiar with the history of Assyria, Mesopotamia and the City of Ur? threads.
Unfortunately people seem to care more about Brexit and our stadium. Sad times.

It was Gavvy's O/S rafters one... you know when 99.9% of people got duped by Gavvy and his technical lingo about how this stadium was going to be the bestest westest football arena in the world... and the other 0.01 % of us on the thread who were proven correct calling it a Cesspit... yeah that thread was the longest.... and saddest

I started one about 7 or 8 years when the BNP got a member elected to the european parliament. Ran for months and had over 40,000 posts. Ended up much like the brexit thread now,just going round in circles and loads of abuse being slung around.

Not so sure about that! I remember one clown started a thread a few years back something like have you heard the latest rumour about Redknapp I think it was and it could only be passed by WHOmail. That was a very fast 100 , the funny thing was people were still asking days later what it was and the folk who were allegedly in the know would only say it was shocking , it was hilarious

In 2014 a relatively new poster 'TheRookie' posted a thread entitled 'New joiner here - I'm a little confused...'
Essentially the thread was TheRookie introducing himself, and asking the question of why there was a good deal of animosity towards Trevor B, given that on the face of it he is a great guy. He signed off the question with 'What has he done that could be considered cunty?'
Within 17 minutes, the thread had seen so many responses, that the size of the entire internet had tripled, with boffins estimating an additional 19 petabytes of vitriol being posted. WHO was taken down per GCHQ order, and the thread was erased without trace before the site was allowed to relaunch.
Anyway, at time of deletion the thread was already the largest in global internet forum history despite being in its infancy when killed off.
